The aim of this study was to examine associations between children’s temperaments and public behaviours. The researchers asked mothers to describe their children’s typical behaviour in public. Mothers reported that they took their children to shops, restaurants, and malls, and on public streets and transportation, and that the children liked to be in the public places. Children’s behaviour in public places seemed mostly positive. The result supported the reciprocal relation between child temperament and public behaviour.
